Detroit Police Looking For Missing Teen Who Ran Away After Argument

UPDATE 4/16: Police say this teen has "returned home and is doing fine."

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police in Detroit are on the lookout for a teen who went missing from the city's west side on Thursday.

Shanteya Bunton-Love, 15, was last seen by her mother on April 14 at around 6:45 a.m. at their home on the 18000 block of Mansfield St.

Bunton-Love left the home after an argument about her being suspended from school.

Bunton-Love is described as a black female, 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds. She is described as a "habitual run-a-way."

Bunton-Love is in good physical condition, but is bi-polar and suffers from ADHD.

If anyone has information or knows of her whereabouts, they are asked to call Detroit Police's Criminal Investigative's Unit at 313-596-5640.
