1 Dead, 1 Injured In Drive-By Shooting In Boston Edison District
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are searching for at least one suspect in a drive-by shooting that killed one and injured another person Thursday night in the Boston Edison district.
Detroit Police Officer Shanelle Williams tells WWJ that a 27-year-old man was killed and a 19-year-old woman in the car with him was injured. She was taken to a nearby hospital and her condition is unknown.
Authorities say around 7:10 p.m. a black Chevy Impala with a silver stripe drove past the van on Rosa Parks Blvd and Glynn Court and fired multiple shots inside.
Two children were also inside the van -- they were not injured.
