EAST LANSING (WWJ) - East Lansing Police have found some of the art that was stolen during last weekend's East Lansing Art Festival.

Police say they've recovered six of the 11 pieces of art that were stolen during the art festival.

Three artists reported that art had been stolen from their booths overnight last Saturday, May 21. Police say the suspects went into the artists' tents after the festival was over to steal the art, which has a combined estimated value around $4,500.
