3 Pets Killed In Rochester Hills Mobile Home Fire
ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - Oakland County authorities say three pets died but no people were hurt in a mobile home fire over the weekend.
It happened Saturday afternoon in the Rochester Estates Mobile Home Court in the 200-block of Marquette Ct. in Rochester Hills.
Oakland County Sheriff's officials say the 911 call came in at around 4:20 p.m. from a witness who said smoke and flames were seen coming from the home.
Firefighters determined that no one was home at the time. They were able to extinguish the blaze, but found three of the homeowner's pets did not survive.
OCSO fire investigators determined the fire was accidental, but did not provide any details about a cause.
