Fisherman Spots Woman's Body Floating In Detroit River
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say a woman's body was pulled from the Detroit River after it was spotted by a man fishing at a park.
The body was recovered just before noon Tuesday along the shore of Alfred Brush Ford Park, near Lenox Street.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine a cause of death.
At this point, the woman remains unidentified. She's described as African-American and between 20- and 30-years-old.
An investigation is ongoing.
