U-M Students Paint Over Crude Messages Found After Election

ANN ARBOR (AP) - Students at the University of Michigan have painted over crude messages that were found near campus following the presidential election.

The Ann Arbor News reports words including "Kill Em All" were found next to a Republican Party elephant and Democratic Party donkey painted in red, white and blue on "The Rock" in Ann Arbor. The large rock is an Ann Arbor landmark that's painted with messages by students and others.

The Michigan Daily reports the rock had featured an Election Day message from supporters of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

On Wednesday afternoon, about 15 people gathered to paint the words "Love Em All" over the other messages.
