The 16th Annual Detroit Tree Lighting occurred this past weekend, lighting up Downtown Detroit to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. Featuring a 60-foot tall tree with over 19,000 LED lights, the event also had live entertainment and food trucks for the thousands of visitors attending the ceremony. With an appearance form Santa Claus, and many other family friendly activities, the Detroit Tree lighting was the perfect event to kick off the holidays.
