Kylee Miller CBS Detroit

Meteorologist Kylee Miller is designated as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and a Certified Digital Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.

Kylee grew up in Milan, Michigan, and attended Early College Alliance at Eastern Michigan University during her junior and senior years of high school, graduating high school with an associate degree. 

After her time at EMU, she pursued meteorology at Central Michigan University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in meteorology, a minor in math, and an emphasis in broadcasting.

Kylee won an Emmy covering 'Tornado Aftermath' by the Regional Southeast Emmy Chapter and was Emmy-nominated for covering 'Deadly Flooding Aftermath' in the Carolinas. She has also received the Midwest Communications, INC. broadcasting scholarship through the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. 

Kylee teaches meteorology courses at Eastern Michigan University and has been featured at CMU and EMU, promoting their weather curriculums.

Kylee has experience forecasting all different types of weather. She's worked at Fox Carolina, Saginaw/Flint, Lansing, and right after college, she worked as a National and Caribbean meteorologist at WeatherNation.

In Kylee's spare time, she enjoys working out, shopping, boating, spending time with family and friends, watching all of Detroit's sports teams/Michigan football, storm chasing, and forecasting weather!
