Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
Three most underappreciated Tiger players in my lifetime:
1. Mickey Lolich: The guy threw 376 innings and struck out more than 300 hitters in '71- and beat Bob Gibson in Game 7 of the World Series in '68. How is he not in the Hall of Fame?
2. Chet Lemon: Most underrated trade in Tigers' history was getting Chester from the White Sox for Steve Kemp. If it doesn't happen, 1984 doesn't happen.
3. Curtis Granderson - "Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone..."
