Ann Arbor Makes "Best Places" List
Some bragging rights are in order for Ann Arbor. The city that is home to the University of Michigan, Domino's and Border's Books is on Money Magazine's "100 Best Places to Live in America" list. Ann Arbor was the only Michigan city to make the list, grabbing the 46th slot.
Of Ann Arbor, the magazine writes, "This friendly college town has all the perks of a much bigger city. The downtown area is a mecca of arts and culture, with museums, theatres, and galleries. Golf courses and biking and hiking trails are never far away."
The top three listed "best places to live" are Eden Prairie, Minnesota; Columbia-Ellicott City, Maryland; and Newton Massachusetts -- followed by Bellevue, Washington and McKinney, Texas, coming in fourth and fifth.
