Pistons Notes And Quotes From Monday's Game
The Detroit Pistons lost their first Summer League game Monday night, falling to 2-1 in summer play.
WHAT HAPPENED: The Pistons (2-1) got a firsthand look at the No. 5 pick in the draft -- DeMarcus Cousins -- who dominated for Sacramento with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Detroit was hampered by the absence of Jonas Jerebko, who missed the game because of general soreness. Also, Austin Daye played only 16 minutes because of a sore hamstring and had his worst game of the Summer League with five points. DaJuan Summers, Mac Koshwal and A.J. Slaughter led the Pistons with 10 points each.
