Wayward Turkey Buzzard Causes Fatal Crash
A wayward turkey buzzard caused a crash that killed an 18-year-old motorcyclist in southwestern Michigan.
The large bird flew into Dillon Reed's path as he was riding his motorcycle Monday outside of Grand Rapids. The turkey buzzard slammed into Reed's chest, causing him to lose control and crash into nearby trees. He was wearing a helmet but died at the scene.
