ESD sets new energy breakfast series: The Engineering Society of Detroit is introducing a new breakfast meeting series, Eggs & Energy, an ongoing discussion on key topics in alternative energy. The first event will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20 at ESD Headquarters in Southfield. The inaugural event will feature Mujeeb Ijaz, systems energy solutions group manager at A123 systems, and U.S. Rep. Gary Peters, D-Bloomfield Hills.
