Cleary U Sets Third Annual Entrepreneurs' Forum: The third annual "Entrepreneurs' Forum – The ABC's of Small Business Ownership" will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cleary University's Johnson Center in Howell. The forum will include topic-specific expert presenters, panel discussions and a networking reception. Pre-paid tickets are $15 and include a continental breakfast and lunch. Attendees will also receive a copy of "The Entrepreneurs' Handbook" that contains valuable information, how-to's and many other resources for would-be entrepreneurs and small business owners alike. This full-day forum will bring together business, academic and government leaders who, through experience, education, examples and debate, will help attendees identify, understand and navigate the many pitfalls of starting or purchasing a business in Michigan. Attendees will be exposed to the many areas of entrepreneurship and be presented a roadmap for entrepreneurial success. Attendees will better understand the entrepreneurial process, including business formation, business planning, financial management, marketing, technology planning and implementation, project management, taxation, business funding, and many more topics of interest future business owners.
