Ferris State Faculty Take Vote On Job Action

The union for Ferris State University faculty says its members have voted to take steps toward a job action should contract talks fail.

The vote lets the bargaining team request a job action vote ``if a satisfactory contract settlement is not reached.''

The Ferris Faculty Association also says it's holding informational picketing Wednesday on the Big Rapids campus.

The next contract bargaining session is scheduled Thursday.
