Ecology Coatings appoints Orchard, Ramsey and Rempinski to board: Ecology Coatings Inc. (OTC: ECOC), the Warren-baed developer of nanotechnology-based ultraviolet-curable coatings, announced that James Orchard, Sally Judith Weine Ramsey and Daniel Rempinski have been appointed to its board of directors. Orchard is the CEO of Mark IV Industries, a privately held diversified manufacturer of systems and components for vehicles, transportation infrastructure and equipment. He was previously COO of Noble International and president of Faurecia. Ramsey, founder of Ecology Coatings, is Ecology's vice president of new product development and chief chemist. She has been instrumental in the creation of the company's UV technology, patents and intellectual property. Rempinski has been the controller at SmithGroup Inc. since 2000. SmithGroup owns companies in the architecture, engineering, consulting and construction industries. Ecology Coatings' products cure in ultraviolet light -- sunlight -- rather than with heat, allowing manufacturers to cut energy use.
