Refresh Detroit to meet on remote users: Refresh Detroit will meet Wednesday on the topic “Putting The User First — Remotely.” The session will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 105 of the Morris Lawrence Building of Washtenaw Community College. Smaller-scale, remote user testing can give software and web development firms of any size the ability to efficiently and effectively gather vital user-experience information without spending a lot of money or time. Mark Thompson-Kolar discusses Cengage Learning’s experience with remote user testing this summer and how your company can put these techniques to work. The meeting is free and open to the public. RSVP at http://guestlistapp.com/events/31467. For more information, visit http://refresh-detroit.org.
