* Reinvented company of the year — the company that has done much to re-create itself to serve growing markets and industries.

* Breakaway company of the year — the company that is using technology to surge ahead of the competition.

* Green company of the year — the company that is doing the most to differentiate itself through the use of renewable and sustainable operations.

* The Michigan Champion of the Year — an award to an individual who has done the most to boost Michigan’s profile and economy.

The award winners, selected by a panel of expert judges, were announced at WWJ’s daylong business program, “I3M: Igniting Innovation In Michigan,” on Wednesday.
