It’s been called the domestic violence of the 21st century.
Cyber bullying, how to spot it, and how to deal with it, is the topic of a forum Wednesday night by the Southfield Domestic Violence Group. Founder Margaret Hall tells WWJ Newsradio 950 this is a serious and growing problem.
“With cyber bullying … people gain information and even though they may not know who that person is, they start weaving a web that people sometimes find impossible to deal with,” Hall said.
Hall says parents need to know that social media are here to stay and require careful monitoring and regulating.
The forum starts at 6:30 pm at United Methodist Church of Madison Heights. That’s at 246 East 11 Mile.
