TechTeam Global Expands Operations in Bucharest, Romania

The Southfield-based IT and business process outsourcing provider TechTeam Global Inc. (Nasdaq: TEAM) said Thursday it would expand its offices in Bucharest, Romania. The company has relocated its Bucharest operations to new, larger space in the city to accommodate the growth of its European business.

The 3,750-square-meter (40,365-square-foot) office substantially increases available space for employees already serving TechTeam customers around the world, and also allows for additional expansion as the company continues to increase its global business.

TechTeam's Bucharest technicians currently provide service desk and remote infrastructure monitoring and management support in 11 languages for 24 of TechTeam's multinational clients.

The Bucharest move marks TechTeam's second expansion in Romania in the past 12 months. Recently, the company doubled its capacity in Sibiu, Romania, to provide expanded IT support in German, French and English to a variety of multinational clients.
