Teen Arrested Following Police Chase

A 15-year old in custody after a high-speed chase that started in Romulus ended in Ann Arbor with a crash. Romulus police say the teen was driving a stolen car as he sped down I-94 at speeds of 90 to 110 miles per hour early Monday morning. 

The chase ended when the car crashed into the median wall near State Street. 

Officers from Michigan State Police, the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department and Van Buren Township assisted in the chase that started about 1 a.m.

The teen driver was checked out at a local hospital and taken to jail.  His name has not been released.

An investigation continues.
