Appia MPLS Promotion Extended

The Traverse City managed communications and network services provder Appia Communications Monday announced that its special MPLS offer has been extended until Dec. 31, 2010.

The offer waives MPLS port charges and reduces access pricing; this can add up to a $4,000 per year savings for three sites.

"This promotion is perfect if you need a high-quality, managed network for voice, video, and data," said Jason Ulm, vice president of channel sales at Appia Communications. "Our partners can offer customers a measurable advantage versus other MPLS providers. Companies can have the benefits of MPLS with costs similar to a simple IP network."

A minimum of three sites at three separate locations is required to qualify for this promotion.

MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) helps multi-site companies and organizations manage their branch-to-branch and remote connections. MPLS prioritizes time-sensitive applications such as hosted VoIP, SIP trunking and video conferencing, so that they take precedence over traffic like email and internet browsing, all across a single connection.

Headquartered in Traverse City, Appia serves markets nationwide, with operations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Washington D.C.
