Lions' Ndamukong Suh Could Earn NFL Rookie Award

Last year at Nebraska, Ndamukong Suh piled up a ton of trophies, including the Associated Press college player of the year.
In his rookie season with the Lions, it looks as if the precocious defensive tackle may soon have to clear space on his trophy mantel for some NFL awards. He was the leading vote-getter among defensive tackles in fan balloting released last week.
Turning in his eighth sack -- tops among defensive tackles and sixth in the NFL after Thursday -- on national television certainly helped Suh's case for winning NFL defensive rookie of the year honors.
