Red Wings C Modano Has Surgery On Right Wrist

Detroit Red Wings center Mike Modano is out indefinitely after having surgery Saturday on his right wrist.
Detroit general manager Ken Holland says the team doesn't have a timetable for Modano's return. He had nerve damage and a sliced tendon in his wrist after getting cut by a skate blade Friday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He has two goals and six assists in 20 games this season.
