Domino's Marks 50 Years In Pizza Biz
That's a lotta' pizza!
Domino's Pizza is celebrating 50-years in operation. To commemorate this special occasion, the company will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange, ending today's session.
"It's pretty amazing that 50-years ago, that we opened our first store in Ypsilanti, and we can't think of a better way to cap off what has really been a special 2010." Said Chris Brandon, a spokesperson for Dominos.
"The biggest, most landmark change that we've made as a company was the introduction of our 'Inspired New Pizza' which we debuted about a year ago but we really started the advertising position and all that in early January. So that got us off to a great start this year." Brandon told WWJ.
