Shoppers Brave Cold For $1 TV
It was a much longer line than you'd expect to outside a dollar store as bargain shoppers braved the cold, Thursday, standing in line in Roseville. The first ten people in line had the option of buying a 19-inch flat screen TV for one dollar at Dollar Castle at 13 Mile and Little Mack.
Jeremy Cohen of Roseville hopped in line at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.
"It's a present for everyone in my family -- to make it equal. They all know I'm here. They actually dropped off extra pairs of socks to me and dropped off my overalls to me, and for that I'm very thankful," Cohen told WWJ's Ron Dewey
The next one hundred people in line were able to get a coffee maker for one dollar. Select early birds can get dollar deals on slow cookers Friday and space heaters Saturday.
