A 13-year-old Detroiter has received a blended sentence in the murder of a Davison woman last year.
DeMarco Harris, who was 12 at the time of the robbery and murder of 24-year-old Trisha Babcock on West Outer Drive, will initially be placed in a juvenile facility and then be up for review in six months.
When he’s 21, if the court decides that his adjustment is not satisfactory, he can be sentenced as an adult to life in prison without parole.
