First 'First Friday' of 2011 set: TechTown, Wayne State University's urban business and research park, will hold its first First Friday of the New Year Jan. 7 featuring dynamic speaker and social media expert Charlie Wollborg. The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at NextEnergy, 461 Burroughs St., Detroit. A $5 donation is strongly encouraged to help support this event. Donations can be accepted online or at the door.
