It’s another victim of snail mail. Before too long, the check will no longer be delivered by mail.

New recipients of Social Security benefits will have to accept paperless payments starting on May 1 of next year, three months later than first proposed.

Those already on Social Security will have until March 1, 2013 to make the switch to a debit card or use direct deposit at their bank or credit union.

With any luck we can find a way to get rid of the postal primadonna’s once and for all. Nothing but a bunch of lazy cry babies any way. Mail used to be dependable, when postal emploee’s had a “work ethic”. They alll need to spend a day or 2 in an unemployment line and see what the rest of the real work force is up against.
