The Detroit Lions ended the season on a winning note, making for some pretty happy fans. Something else that’s sure to please fans today is free pizza!

To mark the team’s road win a few weeks ago, Shields Pizza is holding a Lions Victory Party tonight — and it means free pizza for all.

Owner Peter Andoni tells WWJ Newsradio 950 they plan on making and giving away anywhere between 1,500 and 2,000 pizzas.

“It is first come, first serve. And, it starts at 5:00 and ends at 8:00. If there is a line at 8:00, we will honor the free pizza for the people who did arrive by 8,” Andoni said.

You must dine in to take advantage of the offer. Andoni says his best advice is to arrive early — and carpool.

Participating Shield’s locations include Troy (1476 W. Maple), Southfield (25101 Telegraph), Macomb Township (50750 Romeo Plank), and Rochester Hills (1488 Rochester Road).
