WWJ Newsradio 950 will be in an Adrian courtroom Wednesday morning when John Skelton is arraigned on parental kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of his three young sons. It’s been nearly six weeks since they were last seen at their father’s house.

Today’s court appearance will be the first step towards a trial, which Skelton faces for parental kidnapping charges, given his alleged responsibility behind the disappearance of his three sons.

Skelton decided to forego a preliminary exam in District Court, where the prosecution would have had to show probable cause for a trial.

I want to know why a mother with a confirmed sexl offender conviction is even allowed to have custody of the boys. If the gender were reversed, no father who was a sex offender would be allowed custody — he likely wouldn’t even be allowed unsupervised visits. The court system needs to revaluate the custody of these boys!!
