It started around 5:30 this evening near Utica Road and 12 Mile. As police attempted to resolve the dispute, a disgruntled 42-year-old man began shooting at officers. But the situation turned deadly for the man when a neighbor arrived and he pointed his shotgun toward the neighbor.

The matter is under investigation and when complete the incident will be reviewed by the Macomb County Prosecutors Office.
