The Pistons are in Orlando tonight for the first of 3 road game this week against over 500 teams. The Magic provide the opposition. Orlando 4th in the East and winners of 3 in a row. This morning at shoot around Pistons coach John Kuester responded to Rip Hamilton who told the Free Press that he was offended that Kuester sent security official Jerry Hendon over to talk to him Saturday night to try and reach out to Rip. Kuester says quote "Any time a player wants to come and speak with me he's more than welcome."
The Lions own Jahvid Best tweeted last night that Detroit will be playing in the NFC Championship game next season.
MLB.com reports that an Armando Galarraga deal to the Diamondbacks is close to being done with Arizona sending minor league pitcher Kevin Eichorn and other prospect to the Tigers for the right hander.
Detroit Red Wings recalled Joey MacDonald from the AHL.
