Reported Potholes To Get 1 Hour Fix In Macomb

MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - The Macomb County Executive says the county should be able to respond to pothole complaints in the same time it takes to get your dry cleaning.

Mark Hackel says he's talked to the road commission and a one-hour response time is easily within reach.

"If that means filling it, we will fill it at that point in time, if it's going to take something... a larger scale operation," Hackel says. "It may take us a while but for the most part we are going to try to address and assess the actual problem, the potholes within a one-hour period of time."

The county has a pothole hotline and Hackel says drivers can call the police with pothole complaints as well.

MDOT has a Pothole Hotline 1-888-296-4546.
