The Troy health care IT provider CareTech Solutions plans to unveil a new logo and brand identity Monday at the Health Information and Management Systems Society’s annual conference and exhibition in Orlando.

CareTech provides IT and Web products and services to more than 150 hospitals across the United States.

“CareTech’s brand is our promise to deliver an exceptional health IT experience for our hospital clients, whether it’s as their IT outsourcing partner, or provider of a supplemental IT product or service,” said CareTech president and CEO Jim Giordano. “Today, we’re supporting more than 150 hospitals and health systems, and we’re positioned to support many more. The newly designed logo and brand promise, ‘Helping Extraordinary People Do Extraordinary Things,’ is our way of communicating our commitment to do whatever it takes to deliver the best health care experience through flexible and optimized IT solutions.”

CareTech chose to unveil its new brand at HIMSS11 so it could reach more than 29,000 healthcare IT professionals under one roof. The greatest visual impact of the new brand will come from the company’s booth, No. 1831, where hundreds of images; many donated by CareTech’s hospital clients, are on display to demonstrate how IT and end-users touch patient care.

Additionally, five CareTech clients were selected by HIMSS to share their end-user IT experiences as educational session speakers further demonstrating the strength and benefits of CareTech’s relationship with its hospital clients.
