The Pistons sale remains a mystery right now. Amid a report today that Ilitch holdings head honcho Tom Wilson says that the Ilitch family remains interested in buying the basketball team and remain in a legal non disclosure negotiating with Karen Davidson, that last two week period ran out last Friday.

Pistons are at home tonight to take on the Timberwolves and their All-Star Kevin Love who has double doubles in 47 straight games. The NBA record is held by Moses Malone with 50. Pregame is at 7pm on WWJ 950 AM.

It’s senior night at the Breslin, Tom Izzo and Michigan State look to bounce back from a rough home loss over the weekend to Purdue, Iowa Hawkeyes are in town.

Another injury for Joel Zumaya, the Tigers right hander said today he will miss a few more days with some torn scar tissue in his right elbow. Jim Leyland calls it nothing more than a little inflammation. X-rays on the elbow were negative.

Red Wings continue their road trip in Anaheim against the Ducks. Anaheim is 3 points out of the 8th and final playoff spot in the crowded West. Wins 5 points behind top seeded Vancouver.
