BLOOMFIELD HILLS (WWJ) – “He’s got it, he’s got something.” says Sally (no last given) as she waited to catch a glimpse of Clooney from across the street from Christ Church Cranbrook. “This is fun,” she adds.

When actor George Clooney is in town, people tend to pay attention. Such was the case at Christ Church at Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, where Clooney was filming Monday. Some fans and members of the media were kept across the street from the set.

“It’s exciting, it’s exciting for Michigan, I hope to see that they can work something out where they can keep this industry here,” says Dennis Laubernds from Roseville.

Playing catch before filming, George Clooney was the center of attention in Bloomfield Hills.

Finally the women got a glimpse of Clooney- and the cameras were clicking away as everyone tried to get a picture of Clooney as he directed his upcoming movie, “Ides of March”.

Clooney’s film is about a presidential campaign.
