MCTW to hear from entrepreneur: April’s Connect-Net Networking Forum of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology will feature Claudine George of Inconma LLC, a consulting firm providing professional staffing services to a broad range of Fortune 1000 companies. She will share her insights into how she has gained self-sufficiency, managed risk and empowered her talented resources to successfully grow her company. As an Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” finalist, she will provide answers to questions like: What goes into deciding whether to become an entrepreneur and do I have those traits? How would I get started if I wanted to begin my own business? What are common pitfalls? Is it too financially risky?  Should you start your own business early or late in a career? How do you “run the business” effectively? Can you do so without burning out? The event begins with networking at 5:30 p.m. and the program runs from 6 to 8. It will be held at the Epitec Group, 24800 Denso Drive, Suite 150, Southfield. It’s free to MCWT members and $10 for others. For more information contact Ruth Davis at
