More than 8,000 entries were submitted to the 14th Annual Webby Awards, the majority of which are website nominations, and fewer than 15 percent were distinguished as an official honoree. This is the second major award bestowed on Nemeth Burwell’s Web site. The new site was launched in September to reflect Nemeth Burwell’s growth and showcase the firm’s depth and breadth of expertise in management-side employment and labor law, as well as its geographic reach. Established in 1996 during the Web’s infancy, the Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which includes an executive 750-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities, and associate members who are former Webby winners and nominees and other Internet professionals.
