Detroit Red Wings Roster Report

--D Nicklas Lidstrom had a plus-2 rating, moving him past former Colorado Avalanche C Peter Forsberg into first place on the NHL's career postseason plus-minus rankings (plus-55). Lidstrom picked up a pair of assists. Ironically, Lidstrom finished with a minus-3 rating during the season, the first time he has posted a minus rating in his 19-year career.

--RW Tomas Holmstrom had a huge impact in the game. He deflected in a shot by Valtteri Filppula to score what proved to be the winning goal at 1:11 of the second period. Holmstrom also provided screens for his team's first two goals.

--D Niklas Kronwall did a lot of the dirty work that is so important in the playoffs. He recorded game highs in hits (seven) and blocked shots (four). It was just his second game back after missing the final five games of the season with an upper-body injury.
