Coach Suspected Of Violating Probation With CSC Victim

DETROIT (WWJ) – A former volunteer softball coach at Rochester Adams is back behind bars.  Oakland County Sheriff deputies arrested Thomas Powell Wednesday night at the Concorde Inn in Rochester Hills for a bond violation.

Powell was with a teenage girl.

Police say the 17-year old is one of Powell’s original victims who he started having a sexual relationship with last fall.  Powell was first arrested in March and charged with criminal sexual conduct.

As part of his bond, Powell was to stay away from the girls and their families.  Now he’s back in the Oakland County Jail pending a hearing next Tuesday.
