MSU: No Public Sale Tickets To Aircraft Carrier Game

EAST LANSING (WWJ)- It's the game many Spartan fans are eager to see, but it looks like most won't have the chance to be there.  It's unlikely that Sparty could get a ticket to this one, unless he's a veteran.

Organizer Mike Whalen says Monday that there will be no public ticket sales to the Michigan State-North Carolina basketball game on an aircraft carrier on San Diego Bay which will be played on November 11th, Veteran's Day.

Many of the tickets will go to 4,000 selected military personnel and the rest to VIPs.

In all, there will about seven thousand seats available for the game.

Ex-Spartan great Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan, who played his college ball at North Carolina, are honorary captains for the game.
