DTE Energy will present checks totaling almost $200,000 to two customers that have successfully incorporated energy saving measures through DTE Energy’s “Your Energy Savings” program. The Detroit Media Partnership will receive a check for $150,000, and Grand Valley State University will receive a check for $38,800.

The checks are incentive payments provided by DTE Energy for businesses that install energy savings measures such as high efficiency heating and cooling equipment, energy saving lighting and other measures. The incentive payments help offset some of the initial costs associated with these expenditures.

The check presentations will be made during the 2011 Energy Conference and Exhibition, hosted by DTE Energy and the Engineering Society of Detroit.

The presentation is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 10 at The Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River, Novi
