Detroit Cop Accused Of Sex In Squad Car With Prostitute

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit police officer has been suspended over alleged misconduct on the job. The officer, who has not been named, is accused of having sex in his squad car with a transvestite who is paid to do it.

Police are not releasing any information about the officer in question, except to say that he is a man. It's not known how long he has been on the force.

There are reports that the officer was caught in the act by other officers, when they noticed his parked squad car and decided to investigate.

Chief Police Ralph Godbee has promised a quick investigation.  In the meantime, the officer will continue to get paid pending the outcome.
