Gorcyca Pleads 'No Contest' To Professional Misconduct

DETROIT (AP) - Former Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca  has pleaded no contest to professional misconduct charges.

The state's Attorney Discipline Board released an order last week saying Gorcyca will not face any disciplinary action.

He will have to pay costs of $1,700 dollars.

Gorcyca was accused of misconduct for publicly calling a defendant a freak and a pedophile.

Gorcyca says he tried to resolve the case more a year ago, and it took until now to strike a deal.
