CMS Energy Board of Directors Re-Election: Ten incumbents were re-elected to CMS Energy's Board of Directors at the company's annual shareholder meeting Friday. The incumbents re-elected are David W. Joos, non-executive chairman of CMS Energy; John G. Russell, president and CEO of CMS Energy; as well as the following independent directors:  Merribel S. Ayres, Jon E. Barfield, Stephen E. Ewing, Richard M. Gabrys, Philip R. Lochner, Jr., Michael T. Monahan, Kenneth L. Way, and John B. Yasinsky.  The CMS Energy board members also were elected to the Consumers Energy Board of Directors. Shareholders also approved a proposal ratifying PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for 2011. In addition, shareholders approved an advisory proposal on executive compensation and voted on the frequency with which an advisory vote on executive compensation should be held. Shareholders voted against adoption of a shareholder proposal pertaining to reliance on coal. More at www.cmsenergy.com.
