Phil Coke Goes On 15-Day DL

The Tigers today announced the club has placed left-handed pitcher Phil Coke on the 15-day disabled list with a right foot bone bruise. To take Coke's spot on the club's 25-man roster the Tigers are purchasing the contract of left-handed pitcher Adam Wilk from Triple A Toledo.

Wilk is 3-4 with a 3.86 ERA (49.0IP/21ER) in eight starts with the Mud Hens. He has fanned 32 batters during his eight outings, while issuing only five walks.

To create room on the club's 40-man roster for Wilk, the Tigers today have designated the contract of right-handed pitcher Robbie Weinhardt for assignment.

Additionally, the Tigers will recall left-handed pitcher Andy Oliver on Saturday to start that evening's game versus the Boston Red Sox.
