DETROIT (WWJ) – An accused deadbeat dad was arraigned Friday on charges of failing to pay over $200,000 in child support.

Detroit Police and the Attorney General say Tyrease Hicks was arrested on Lister Street in Detroit.

Authorities say Hicks owes money to five different families.

He’s being held in the Wayne County Jail.
