(Fun) Summer Math? Yes, It's So!
In the hot and lazy summer months, it is hard to find ways to keep kids interested in math, and keep them practicing the skills they learned over the school year. While summer bridge workbooks are a good solution, for many kids, it is hard to find motivation for math work over a vacation.
The PBS kids website provides math games that can keep kids' skills sharp, while also providing a fun experience. The pbskids.org site contains cyberchase, a chance for kids to see videos, play games and to participate in quests to advance their math skills.
