DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police announce breaks in two murder cases Monday afternoon.

A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a Wayne State University football player. Quinton King is accused of killing 20-year-old Cortez Smith outside a club on Larned last month.

King will be back in court on June 21.

 Police Get Break In 2 Murder Cases

Police are searching for Anton Blevins.

Police are still  looking for another man – Anton Blevins - in the case.

Officials also say they arrested a man named Duane Thomas in a triple murder last week on Orangelawn Street in Detroit. They are still looking for three other men – Roderick and Jamar Gibson and Omar Johnson – in connection with that case.
